You can join our friendly little group on line on Wednesday and Saturday nights at 9:30 PM ET by pointing your IRC client to irc.starchat.net and then joining us on our registered channel, #FareShare. Hallie du Preez is our Chat Mother and is responsible for the IRC part of our group.

If you need to download an IRC client (the software needed to access chat network servers), you can do so by visiting one of the primary sites of those shown on the right, mIRC or Pirch if you use a PC; if you use a Mac, software is available at Snak and Ircle.

Another option that is fast getting attention around the net is JavaChat. This enables users with browsers enabled for Java Script to participate in live chats. In fact, in the same chats going on through other software clients.

JavaChat does have some limitations; for example, you cannot scroll text files into the channel. However, it is easy, low maintenance and available to you now! If you would like to join us using this method click on the JavaChat Button above.
