                             Dinner Rolls ABM
Recipe By :
Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00
Categories : Bread Machine Volume 2-6 June '99
Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
   1 2/3 cups milk
2 eggs
4 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup shortening (or butter or margarine)
2 1/2 tsp. active dry yeast
Add ingredients according to your machines directions. Use dough
setting. If you are making more than one batch, do the following. Dump
out the dough into a bowl after the dough is finished mixing and let it
rise outside of the machine. Start a new batch of dough in your machine
immediately, no need to wash the pan.
After dough has doubled in size, divide dough in thirds. (3 pieces)
Divide each third in half. (6 pieces) Now, divide each sixth in half
and you should have 12 equal pieces. Grease a 9x13 pan. Tuck and fold
each dough section so it is nice and smooth. Place in pan evenly. Let
rise until they practically fill the pan. Bake at 350 for 10 to 15
minutes. Or until golden brown. If you like, you can apply an egg wash
just before baking.
This is a wonderful recipe I use for my rolls - the original submitter
was a young lady whose name was Christine and it was well received by
everyone who used it - I have made rolls for hamburgers, rolls for
sandwiches, cloverleaf rolls, etc. etc. with this and it has always
turned out wonderful....hope you enjoy it...it is very nice if after
raising you brush the rolls 'gently' with melted butter which has
parmesan cheese and garlic mixed into it - yum!!!!
